About
Founded in Frankfurt in 1829, Glasbau Hahn manufactures conservation display cases: the sealed, climate-controlled vitrines that museums put their collections inside. More than 3 000 of their cases stand in 38 countries, among them the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the National Museum of Qatar in Doha, the Senckenberg in Frankfurt and the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino in Santiago. It is a narrow speciality with buyers scattered across many countries, which is exactly what makes public tenders hard to follow.

Challenge
In their own words, the difficulty is finding promising tenders that fit their profile in regions and markets where their visibility is still limited, or where they do not yet have lighthouse references. A specialist product does not surface reliably in a keyword search, and museum work is frequently filed under furniture.
Approach
A weekly screening across the markets in scope, matching every notice against what the company can actually deliver rather than against a code list. Each week returns a summary with the reasoning attached, so the sales team can judge fit without reading the source documents first.
Result
The weekly summary is used directly by the sales team without major post-processing. The pilot ended in September 2026 and the engagement continued.
“We are very pleased with the services provided by Viran. The focus of our collaboration is to find promising tenders that fit our profile in regions and markets where our visibility is still limited or where we do not yet have lighthouse references. Viran offers a complete screening tailored very well to our needs and profile. The weekly screening summary provides a reliable assessment that is directly usable by our team without major post-processing on our side. We look forward to continuing our collaboration.”
