Viran has extended tender monitoring to the European Space Agency. ESA contracts are now screened alongside national and EU procurement, matched against the supplier's capability profile, and returned with a go or no-go and the reasoning attached.
ESA is an intergovernmental agency of 23 member states, with Finland participating since 1995. The agency operates its own procurement system, esa-star, and Viran now integrates those opportunities with national and EU procurement monitoring.
ESA procurement extends across spacecraft and research programmes as well as software, testing, materials, ground systems and specialist services. This creates opportunities for companies across a broad range of technical sectors.
