Viran has extended its tender monitoring to the World Bank. Contracts arising from Bank-funded work are now screened alongside national and EU procurement, and matched against the supplier's capability profile like any other opportunity.
Development bank work is easy to overlook because of where it appears. The money comes from one place, the project runs in another, and the contract is usually awarded by the country carrying out the work rather than by the bank itself. A supplier watching its home market sees none of it, even when the requirement is squarely within what the company does.
The competitions are also genuinely open. These contracts are meant to be visible internationally, and a supplier's distance from the project matters less than whether it can deliver against the requirement.
What changes with coverage is simply that the opportunity is seen in time. A contract nobody knew about was never a decision not to bid.
